Suomenlahti

The national park of the Eastern Gulf of Finland is located in the outer archipelago and comprises over 100 islands and islets. In the summer area’s unique and old fishing villages come to life. During spring Suomenlahti offers great experiences also for birdwatchers. The migration of Arctic birds in May is one of the most spectacular events in the Finnish bird world.

Valkmusa

More than 40 species of bog habitats have been found in Valkmusa National Park, which is an exceptionally high number for southern Finland. Visitors have unique opportunity to relax and enjoy nature with all their senses in the extensive natural bogs in the national park. Valkmusa is an ideal destination for visitors of all ages all year round.

The Repovesi National Park near Kouvola

With its steep rocky outcrops, blue lakes and mystical ponds, the park forms a unique wilderness region. Around 45 kilometres of easy to difficult, well-signposted hiking trails criss-cross the national park. Special highlights include the suspension bridge in Lapinsalmi, the sweeping view from the observation tower on Mustalamminvuori and the hand-operated ferry.

Sipoonkorpi

In Sipoonkorpi National Park, visitors experience the Finnish forest in its most pristine form. In the 24 km² area of ​​the national park you will find shady spruce forests as well as rural cultural landscapes and villages whose stories go back to the 13th century. There are marked routes for hikers of all ages, beginners and advanced, as well as numerous fire pits for grilling and picnicking. Sipoonkorpi offers wonderful landscapes to marvel at in all seasons and is particularly famous for the great mushroom and berry picking spots.
